News Integrated Information System, ERP Live 4602 The Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) project, which was launched in June 1998, begun full-scale operation and has been functioning since July 1999 after a 13 month construction period. ERP, an enterprise-wide resource management system, operates as an integrated information system which enables all work sectors to inter-operate by computerizing work redefined through an enterprise-wide analysis of work and process improvement regarding sales, distribution, production purchase, account and finance. It is anticipated that the system will contribute to a smoother flow of communications because work processing information from each division will be shared and this inevitably shortens the work processing time by reducing losses.
